Using the site

sanechaos publishes articles and lets signed-in readers like and comment. Anyone can read the opening of an article. Signing in with Google is free and unlocks the full text. You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Signing in and your account

You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping it secure. Tell us at once if you think someone has used it without your permission.

Comments and your content

You keep ownership of what you write. When you post a comment, you give sanechaos a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display it on the site for as long as it stays there. You confirm that you have the right to post it and that it follows these terms.

Comments are public and appear with your Google name and profile picture. You can delete your own comments at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory or obscene, or that invades someone else's privacy.
• Post spam, advertising or promotional links.
• Pretend to be another person or misstate your connection to anyone.
• Post content that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
• Try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its accounts or its systems, or interfere with how the site runs.
• Get around safeguards such as rate limits or sign-in.

Moderation and suspension

We may remove any comment, and suspend or block access for anyone who breaks these terms, at our discretion and without notice. You may stop using the site at any time.

Our content

The articles, images, design and code on sanechaos, other than your comments and third-party material, belong to sanechaos or its licensors and are protected by copyright.
